Along with playing Netball as part of the Inter-School Sporting Program, at St Benedict’s College students have the opportunity to participate in a high performance program which runs all year round. This program has been designed to maximise the performance of the students as individuals and as a team in two major tournaments throughout the year - Catholic Cup Netball and High Energy Youth Tournament (2017).
While Rugby 7s is not an Inter-School Sport, the students will be working towards representing the College at the Queensland Rugby 7s in October each year. This is a two day tournament held over a weekend on the Gold Coast which involves a significant number of schools throughout Queensland. The divisions available are u/13, u/15 and u/18 Boys and Girls and the College enters teams depending on student interest and availability each year.
Along with representing the College in Touch Football and Oztag through the Inter-School Sporting Competition, students have the opportunity to be selected for one of the major tournaments which St Benedict’s College participates in each year – the Queensland All Schools Touch Football Tournament.
Along with participating in the Inter-School Sporting Competition, students have the opportunity to trial for selection in the All Schools Volleyball teams.
