Recently, Michael Fitzpatrick challenged
our Year 8 students to think about what symbols in their lives are important to
them and how we can further enhance our sense of community within the cohort.
Stepping out of their comfort zone was fundamental aspect of the event with
students buddying up with those who were not in their established circle of
friends. This was a timely embellishment of the College’s ‘Big 5’ where respect
and relationships underpin all that we do. I would like to thank the students
for their exemplary behaviour, and it was heart-warming to hear the College
Song being sung as one voice on the bus trip home.
