Alongside her studies, she works as a Singing Teacher and Venue Manager at Stage School Australia, where she supports young performers in developing confidence, skill and a love for the stage.
A Passion Sparked at St Benedict’s
Her pathway into the Arts was shaped strongly by her experiences at St Benedict’s. Throughout her time at the College, she immersed herself in a wide range of opportunities, performing in four musicals, The Little Mermaid, Shrek, Bluebell and The Addams Family, touring South-East Queensland drama festivals with BareFeet Drama Club, and contributing to ensembles such as Benedict’s Voices, Glitterbomb and the Arezzo Ministry band. She also pursued private vocal and piano lessons, further strengthening her passion and skillset.

Since graduating, her involvement in the arts industry has been extensive and impressive. She has contributed to over 25 theatre productions in a variety of roles, including performer, music director, director, stage manager, photographer, marketing manager and child chaperone. A standout milestone in her journey has been stepping into the role of music director for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Jr. with the Beenleigh Theatre Group, Lauren's first-time music directing a production, with performances scheduled for July 2026.
The Lasting Impact of St Benedict’s
Reflecting on her journey, she credits the support and opportunities provided by the Arts program at St Benedict’s as instrumental in shaping her future. Without that encouragement, she says, she may never have discovered her passion for the Arts.
