​“Even if you’re little, you can do a lot!”

St Benedict’s College production of Matilda JR., a vibrant musical that celebrated the magic of imagination and the strength of young voices. The story followed Matilda, a brilliant young girl with extraordinary powers, as she faced challenges at home and school and inspired her classmates to stand up for what was right. With its catchy songs, lively choreography, and uplifting message, Matilda JR. offered audiences a memorable and heartwarming experience.

As the curtain closed, the College reflected on a production filled with energy, courage, and a touch of Matilda magic. Students brought Roald Dahl’s beloved story to life with creativity, enthusiasm, and talent—both on stage and behind the scenes. 

​A huge thank you to the hardworking backstage crew, whose efforts ensure the show runs smoothly from start to finish. Appreciation is also extended to the many parents and caregivers whose encouragement and support contribute greatly to the success of the production.
